Finals

I have two finals left. One is my Security and Loss Prevention, which I feel pretty confident about. Now, my second one is Algebra. Ugg. I really, really dislike algebra. Besides the basic stuff, I do not think you need it at all. Well, I suppose it depends on your major. I will never in my life need to know how to FOIL, or know how to divide polynomials. I just can not wrap my mind around it. You either can or you can not. I obviously can not! Then again, it could be that the last time I have taken an algebra class was about 13 years ago. Who am I kidding, I did not even understand it then. As long as I pass it and get it over with, I will never have to worry about it again. I have to get a proctor which is an enormous pain. I live 5 hours away, so I have to go somewhere, like the library to take it. The point of having a proctor is so that they can make sure you do not cheat and they can make sure you do not go over you allowed time. They also make sure you only use the allowed notes, etc. After you are finished, your proctor has to fax your test back to have it graded. It is quite the process, but it has to be done.
On a better note, after this blog I plan on taking the rest of the day off. It is Mother's Day. My five year old told me this morning that as soon as Dad gets home from work he is going to have him take him to the jewelry store so he can buy me a necklace. But, since it will be a while before he gets home, he had something in his tool box for me! He then gave me some of his figurines out of his room. I asked him if he could put them back so he could keep an eye on them for me. He is such a good kid. He does not act like a five year old at all. I have always said he is an old soul. So is my older brother, so I guess that is where he gets it. Well, I am off to spend the rest of the day outside with my favorite guys!
